𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 are back! 2022 was an unforgettable year. Records were smashed, history was made and Irish sportswomen continued to raise the bar, inspiring young and old across the globe.We are delighted to announce the official launch of the 2022 Her Sport Awards which aims to celebrate and recognise the magnicent achievements of our sports stars as well as the community volunteers and behind the scenes heroes that make the sport we love possible.
Who do you think deserves the recognition in the 2022 Her Sport awards? Head over to awards.hersport.ie to submit your nominations before a top ten shortlist is selected for public voting.
Nominations from the public will be open for “Athlete of the Year”, “Young Athlete of the Year” and “Team of the Year” and "Community Award" until 4th January 2023, after which a shortlist of the top 10 in each category will be released. Voting for this shortlist will open and the Her Sport Awards winners will be crowned on the 28th Januar 2023.

The Her Sport Awards will take place in Astra Hall, UCD, on Saturday 28th January 2023. This event is open to the public and tickets are available here.
Highlights of the Awards night will be broadcast on TG4.
On the night Awards will be presented and there will be on stage interviews with the winners as well as a panel discussion with some of the biggest stars in sport. This year's theme is #DoItForHer where we are encouraging you to come to the awards with your 'Her' as we aim to change the landscape for girls and women in sport.
