Her Sport is the leading multi-platform sports media and sports content brand for women’s sport in Ireland. We deliver top quality video, audio, podcast and written sports content across our website and every major social media platform.
We are seeking a Multimedia Digital Journalist intern to join our team with the prospect of becoming a Part-Time team member. We are seeking someone who is passionate about sport and creating impactful and engaging content, and wants to be a part of creating social and cultural change. The successful candidate will form part of a growing digital sports team as well as being provided possible opportunities for on-camera appearances with Ireland’s #1 organisation for Women in Sport.
What you will do:
- Get the most eyes and ears on the quality content that Her Sport produces on a daily basis
- Write, create and support written, audio and video content created across all Her Sport channels.
- Interview and attend matches, press conferences and more.
- Work alongside the Her Sport content team to content KPI’s
Skills
- Written and some creative experience in graphics / video is desired.
- Good knowledge of social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok.
- Understanding of WordPress is a bonus.
- The ability to work to deadline - quickly edit, editorialise and cross-publish all Her Sport video and audio to our digital audience.
- Understanding of social media analytics across each platform
- KPI-driven, with an understanding that numbers & performance is the priority.
- Versatility, and the ability to adapt and engage in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
- And it goes without saying - strong interest in women’s sports is essential.
