The Ireland Women’s National Team return to Tallaght Stadium for their third game in the 2023-24 UEFA Nations League as they take on Albania on Friday evening 27 October.

The first meeting of these teams at senior women’s level is the first of back-to-back games in this international window as they will meet again next Tuesday, October 31 in Shkoder.

Albania will become the 52nd different team that Ireland WNT will have played in an official game since 1973. Impressively, Ireland has a fully fit squad to choose from. Should she feature in the game, defender Diane Caldwell would become the seventh WNT Centurion to join the list that includes Emma Byrne (134), Áine O'Gorman (119), Niamh Fahey.

“We are delighted to return to Tallaght Stadium, which has been the home of Irish women’s football for many years and home to many memorable moments for us to share with our amazing supporters, Interim Head Coach Eileen Gleeson said.

"To have the opportunity to continue our journey in front of a sold-out crowd is a very special moment for us as a team, for players and for all involved. We thank everyone from the supporters, clubs, FAI and Tallaght Stadium staff who ensure we can have the best experience, opportunity and support possible.

"We’ve had a very positive start to our opening games in the current UEFA Nations League, which is testament to the hard work, openness and commitment of a special group of players and staff.

"We want to build on these performances and give the fans an exciting experience while taking another step toward EURO 2025 qualification."
