Founded in 1970, Granada Football Club has a long history of providing grassroots football to children and adults in the South Dublin region.

"We are proud to be a 'Football for All' club and welcome members from all backgrounds and abilities. The primary focus of this football club is to participate in team sports and have a huge amount of FUN!!"

In 2014, Granada took a significant step by founding its girls' football team, initially comprising just four underage U8s and U9s teams. Fast forward to 2023, and the club has expanded to a remarkable 20 girls' teams competing in league football, ranging from U7s to U17s. This growth has brought together over 300 young girls.

Granada held its first competitive league title win at u14 and also had a team in the SFAI national league cup final at this age group.

The club facilitates both boys and girls teams and host camps and festivals of football during school holidays. Granada Football Club also extends its reach to those with varying sporting abilities through its "Football for All" program. This inclusive initiative brings together players from diverse groups, including children with additional needs, who share a common desire to play football and revel in the joy of the game.
