It was an eventful day 3 for Team Ireland at the World Rowing Championships in Belgrade, Serbia.

Steven McGowan and Katie O'Brien beat Poland in the heat of 1 of the PR2 mixed doubles sculls to secure a place in the final and booked a ticket for Ireland in the event at the Paris 2024 Paralympics.  O'Brien and McGowan have secured the first boat for the country in the 2024 Paralympics, ending the 11 years it has been since Ireland had a crew compete in the Paralympics.
