Vision Sports Ireland, in partnership with Motorsport Ireland and event corporate sponsor Windsor Motor Group, are thrilled to announce the return of the Zero Limits Track Day to Mondello Park circuit on Tuesday July 25th and Wednesday July 26th supported by Sport Ireland.

The Zero Limits Track Day allows blind and vision impaired participants the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a dual controlled road car around the Mondello Park circuit in the morning, and in the afternoon, participants become rally co-drivers alongside some of Ireland’s finest rally drivers.

The now annual Zero Limits Track Day has proven a huge success; to date Vision Sports Ireland has supported 115 participants aged 13 to 87 with this unforgettable experience. With Windsor Motor Groups support for the 2023 event, Vision Sports Ireland aims to double the impact to 120 participants across the two-day event.

Padraig Healy, National Sports Development Manager of Vision Sport Ireland commented “From its inception, the goal of Zero Limits has been to “Change Perceptions” for what is possible for people who are blind or vision impaired. For someone who has never driven a car or not driven since their vision changed, it is a unique experience that we are truly delighted to be able to offer to our members. We are very excited to welcome new and old participants and their families back to Mondello on July 25th and 26th. This event would not be possible without the support of our volunteer rally drivers who travel from all parts of the island and beyond to support us each year, our partners Motorsport Ireland, and our headline sponsor Windsor Motors who are integral to the growth and success of Zero Limits.”

Brian Quinn, Windsor Motor Group Head of Marketing added “We are thrilled to continue our support for the third consecutive year as partners of Vision Sports Ireland for their Zero Limits Track Days at Mondello Park. The tremendous success of last year's event, which brought immense joy to all participants, made us eager and enthusiastic to be part of it once more. We are delighted to continue our commitment to this fantastic initiative.”

The Zero Limits Track Day is open to participants who are blind or vision impaired, and strictly must be aged 13 years or older.

Earlier this year we spoke with Vision Sports Ireland Partnerships and Operations Coordinator and Women in Sport Lead Sara McFadden who spoke passionately about the event and it's influence over the years providing people who "may be socially isolated, they may get out a couple times a week, and all of a sudden they are driving a car and going around in a rally car which is an opportunity they just don't get to have"
