Kilkenny’s camogie All-Ireland conquering champions, Denise Gaule and Grace Walsh have been nominated alongside Galway's Shauna Healy for the 2020 Camogie Players' Player of the Year award.
Denise Gaule was in inspirational form for Kilkenny throughout the championships as she finished off with 3-37 from five Championship games including a decisive winner in the All-Ireland final as the Nore-siders overcame the Tribeswomen in the decider, with a 1-14 to 1-11 victory at Croke Park.
Grace Walsh has also earned her place amongst the nominees after consistently performing game after game in the championships. The Tullaroan star was inspirational in defence which saw Kilkenny keep Galway out in the final.
Galway defender, Shauna Healy has been nominated for the Senior Camogie Player of the Year for the first time. The
Meanwhile, Down's Niamh Mallon and Sara-Louise Graffin, and Maeve Kelly of Antrim have been nominated for the Intermediate crown while Ciara Donnelly and Leanne Donnelly (both Armagh) and Róisín O'Keeffe (Cavan) are in the mix for the Junior prize.

The voting for the Players' Player of the Year Awards is now underway amongst intercounty players and the winners alongside the All-Stars teams will be announced at the 17th annual Camogie All-Stars Awards, which will be held as a virtual event on Saturday, March 6.
