When it comes to running shoes, ASICS are known and trusted for their top quality!. This year, the Novablast 3 has been considered by a few as one of the best shoes of the year. We were given the chance to test them out.
Let’s get into it.
Incredibly comfortable! You get that straight-out-of-the-box feel that every runner wants and that’s for every run! The shoes are for all abilities and whether it’s 3km or 30km, or any distance in between. That’s one one of our favourite things about the Novablast 3 - they’re so versatile.Whether you’re heading out for a long, slow jog or lacing up for an uptempo run, the Novablast 3 is a trusted option. They’re light, bouncy, comfortable, and feel great from mile 1 to mile 20.
Even just standing in them, you can feel the Novablast 3 comfortable fit. The stack of cushioning and foam never feels overly soft thanks to the higher spec FF Blast Plus foam, which is specifically designed to offer a “bouncy running experience”. Sometimes runners are concerned that foam flatten or compress after a few runs, but that hasn’t been our experience.
The shoes have a redesigned soft knit upper and honestly very stylish which we’ve been pleasantly surprised by! On the official Asics website they’re available in several colourways, and in three on the Elevey’s website. In terms of sizing, it’s true to fit and has plenty of heel stability even with the extra stack.
Long story short, the Novablast 3’s have made running that little bit more effortless and enjoyable. If you’re looking to try them out - Elvery’s are selling them for €150. Check them out here.
