Irish international Louise Quinn plays for the West Midlands side. Quinn began playing for Birmingham in 2021 after transferring from Italian side Fiorentina. Prior to this, from 2017 to 2020, Quinn was a part of Women’s Super League (WSL) team Arsenal where she played alongside Irish National Team Captain Katie McCabe.

The Irish squad is also home to former Birmingham club players. Also playing on the pitch was Emily Whelan, who is presently with Glasgow City FC, but started her professional soccer career at Birmingham City.
