The 2018 ŠKODA Tour de Boyne Valley event takes place on Sunday, 9th of September. Set to be a great event, the ŠKODA Tour de Boyne Valley has the option of 150km and 95km routes. This event offers the opportunity to enjoy the Irish countryside, taking in beautiful scenery and passing some famous heritage sites. The Tour de Boyne Valley starts and finishes in Drogheda and promises to be an epic spin through fantastic scenery and Ireland most famous historic sites. The ŠKODA Tour de Boyne Valley is part of the ŠKODA Celtic Series.
150 Route
Starting at the Western Motors in the M1 Retail Park, we travel down through the town of Drogheda before heading out the road to Thermofecken. Traveling along the coast road to the seaside town of Clogher Head then alongside the beach before heading inland to the rolling roads of the Boyne Valley.

  • The Feed station is in Collon after 47Kms and then again in Bohermeen after 91Kms.
  • At 124Kms there is a water station to help you on your way to the finish.

95 Route
Starting at the Western Motors in the M1 Retail park we travel down through the coast road to the seaside town of Clogher Head then alongside the beach before heading inland to the rolling roads of the Boyne Valley. The Feed station is in Collon after 47Kms. You pass through Collon and then over some really nice rolling country roads bringing you down and over the river Boyne where there is a water station at 77kms. After the water station you will travel back towards Drogheda with only 15kms remaining.
The routes offer participants the chance to experience the rolling countryside of the Boyne Valley on some of the roads of the famous Boyne Valley Drive and passing some of its famous heritage sites.

Registration for the ŠKODA Tour de Boyne Valley is now open with the entry at €40 plus booking fee. If you are not a member of Cycling Ireland you will have to purchase a day licence for €5 along with your entry fee. Register for the early registration to receive a specially designed long sleeve cycling jersey.
